Bicycle Camp for Individuals With Disabilities

Three Day Institute on Educating Children with Down Syndrome July 30, 31 & August 1, 2013

For a variety of reasons more and more children with Down syndrome are being educated in our local schools. LIU Post is holding a three-day institute that is designed to prepare professionals to meet the needs of students with Down syndrome. Yvonne is a member of the NYS Education Department’s Commissioner’s Advisory Panel for Special Education representing parents and families; a past president of her school district’s SEPTA; and serves on various committees and task forces focused on improving outcomes for all children with special needs.

Parent to Parent of NYS assists families when they learn their child has a disability.
